How does Wireless charging work in mobile phones????

Smart phones now-a-days such as Samsung Galaxy S6  come with a feature called Wireless Charging.So what is Wireless Charging ???

Wireless charging is method to charge you mobile phone batteries by a principle called INDUCTIVE CHARGING.

                          Inductive charging uses an electromagnetic field to transfer energy between two objects i.e a Charging station and the Mobile phone. 

The Charging station  uses an induction coil to create an alternating electromagnetic field from within the charging base station, and a second induction coil in the Mobile Phone takes power from the electromagnetic field and converts it back into electric current to charge the battery. 

In general terms the two induction coils combine to form an electrical transformer.
